Always keep your mind as bright and clear as the vast sky, the great ocean, and the highest peak, empty of all thoughts. Always keep your body filled with light and heat. Fill yourself with the power of wisdom and enlightenment. -Morihei Usehiba Combination of the exceptional activities like Swimming , Football and Robotics, is the recurrent routine for young goenkans. GDGPS held a special assembly today, to commemorate "Earth Day "; in consonance with it's CSR initiatives! Students of various classes got together, to present a poignant kaleidoscope of hymns, thoughts and thought-inducing speeches on the theme of the day! The entire assembly was immaculately conducted, with the same elan that GDGPS, Rudrapur is renowned for!
An academic_English activity - Show n Tell - was organised at the GDGPS, by the English_department, today. Motivating the students of grades I to V, the event was an adaptation of the ever popular impromptu speech/Extempore, with a typically Goenkan tweak! Designed to hit at the incumbent hesitation in a child, the activity aims at enhancing the standards and cognitive skills in a foreign language.
Children enjoyed a introductory session in language_lab on 25/04/2019. It not only helped them to enhance their communication skills, but also gained knowledge about presentation skills, improvised listening skills and also gained confidence while developing public speaking skills. Kudos to our budding talents for all their energy and enthusiasm GDGPS Rudrapur
Colours are indeed the smiles of nature. 'Red’ color symbolizes enthusiasm, life and vitality. Red Day was celebrated on 25th April, 2019 for the classes Pre-Nursery and Nursery to introduce Little Goenkans into the mesmerizing realm of colours. The shades of red made them feel bright, lively and cheerful. ‘The day started off with the color red every- where- red dresses, red balloons, here a red………. there a red….. red red everywhere. Our little ones spent a spectacular red day. The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits. It was a scintillating day with innocent faces gleaming and reflecting brightness and joy.
In 1982 the Dance Committee of ITI founded World Dance Day to be celebrated every year on the 29th April, the birthday of Jean Georges Noverre , creator of modern ballet. The intention of the International Dance Day Message is to celebrate dance, revel in the universality of this art form, cross all political, cultural and ethnic barriers, and bring people together with a common language - dance. So our little Goenkans celebrated happiness and feeling of togetherness by tapping their feet on the tunes and enjoyed the dance moves.
"No work is insignificant... All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence" - Martin Luther King, Jr As beautifully put across in the above mentioned quote it's important to imbibe values in children where they learn to pay gratitude to people who are working around. Goenkans celebrated Labor's Day to acknowledge the importance and worth of our helps and thank them for all the continuous hard work they have been putting in as a member of the team.
Classroom is the best place where a child can learn, share and grow together and it's even better when classroom becomes an outlet for the child's creativity . We are pleased to provide our young Goenkans with this kind of classroom environment where they can smile and grow. Giving you all a glimpse of classroom activities.
It's truly said..... That the eternal_love_of_mother is irreplaceable , and thank you seems like a very small word to say when we remember all the love our mothers had given us and countless_sacrifices she made. Young Goenkans..... Showing their love and gratitude for their super moms. Our salute to each one of them.
